Whether your a complete beginner learning the ins and outs of a typical DAW or learning mic'ing techniques or looking for hints and tips on how to improve your mixing/mastering skills, I will teach you everything I know from my 4 years of production education (BA hons) and extensive experience to help you become the producer you have always dreamed of being!

The DAW we will be focusing on is Logic Pro. Logic Pro is like the big brother of Garageband, it is packed with features and plugins straight out of the box and I feel is the best for beginners and experienced producers alike and with a price of $200 is incredible value for what it offers!

The first few lessons we will look at mapping out logic to understand the layout of the DAW (track view, mixer, inspector etc). We will also look at routing for audio interfaces and how to link logic to an interface for recording audio. Then we will learn the different types of tracks and their functions. Further down the line we will look at plugins and begin to look at general production techniques (balancing, EQ, compression and panning). In the last lessons you will be fully confident with advanced techniques such as compression side-chaining, plugin automation, auxiliary sends, and vocal stacking.
