I welcome new students, to help you achieve your goals in music. I specialise in Classical and Jazz repertoire, offering guidance where desired for the ABRSM and Trinity College performance and theory examinations. My students invariably gain Merit and Distinction results. Outwith the examination repertoire, I encourage students to improve their sight reading skills, and to learn their favourite pieces, leading towards the ability to perform them from memory.
Every year I hold a student recital at the Edinburgh Society of Musicians, where students can meet other and socialise, perhaps trying out piano duets and chamber music.
I offer a no obligation free trial lesson. If you decide to continue, fees are £45 for a one-off lesson, and for a prepaid block of ten lessons, I offer a £90 discount, which brings the hourly rate down to £36.
