PhD in bioinformatics with strong back ground in STEM subjects. I work successfully with secondary school students and adults.

First, I will communicate with the students and the parents to agree on the goal of the study, the timeline to meet, the topics to cover, and the format of the standardized exam. Then I will tailor my courses to meet those needs. I encourage my students to expand from the textbook and apply their skills and information to understand daily observations. I believe in an interactive learning experience and integrate case studies, sometimes including the updated research progress depending on the level of the students, in an accessible way (especially for science subjects). Although this method requires a stronger background on the subject and more preparation time from the tutor, it forms a web of knowledge to connect discreet concepts dynamically and greatly accelerates their understanding and memorization.
