Online Chinese Tutor - Part Time

Dear Hiring Manager,

I am excited to apply for the position of Private Tutor with your excellent team. As a recent postgraduate from the University of Edinburgh with a major in Language and Intercultural Communication, I have developed a strong interest in teaching and mentoring students. With my academic background and working experiences, I am confident that I possess the skills and qualifications required for this position.

My educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Italian Language. During my Bachelor's degree, I have received several awards for academic excellence, and I have also participated in an exchange program at the University of Venice in Italy, which has broadened my intercultural perspectives and communication skills.

Regarding my working experiences, I have worked as an English teacher at Suzhou New Oriental Training School, where I taught Grade 8 students both offline and online. I have prepared slides and teaching materials, designed relevant class activities, and customized learning plans and courses to meet the diverse needs of students. I have also implemented teaching methods such as long-term oral translation training and critical thinking preparation to improve students' language skills and critical thinking abilities.

In addition to my academic and working experiences, I have also been involved in extracurricular activities. I have also volunteered as an interpreter at the Cittaslow International Coordinating Meeting, providing interpreting services between Italian and Chinese for a group of Italian officials.

I am fluent in Mandarin, English, and Italian and possess a National Teacher Certificate in junior secondary school English. I also have skills in Microsoft Office, Photoshop, and C++. Furthermore, I enjoy traveling, reading, vlog-making, and sports.
