Mechanical Engineering Student Offering Tutoring

I have just completed my undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering at Edinburgh Napier University, where I have been able to continue working, staying up to date and refreshing my knowledge in mathematics. During my degree course I have had the opportunity to tutor fellow students in the years below which I have found truly satisfying.

From a young age i have been enthusiastic and interested in mathematics and with a dyslexic twin sister, I often found myself patiently explaining concepts in a form that she would better grasp. I went on to tutor at school and as mentioned at university. Gaining experience in tutoring outside of my own institute has been eye opening, with the years of using mathematical methods under my belt, it has become very easy to break down and tackle any problem in a simple and understandable way for the pupil.

Tutees can expect enthusiasm, motivation and above all patience when tackling problems together. I believe it is important to find gratification in achieving solutions and it is always my aim to impart that belief as this can make the process of learning far more effective and enjoyable.
