Advert description
When I was doing higher maths (Scotland) I had to teach it to myself, after switching from teaching myself A Level maths. I learned a lot of methods of understanding how new concepts work and how to explain them to myself and relate them to the real world. Then as I was doing my degree I found the best way to learn was to explain the things we were learning to other students. This carried on to my final years and after as I was teaching my peers and students in the years below me how to complete the senior project we had, which was designing an airplane. Explaining all of the maths surrounding it on a level that makes it make sense even for non aerodynamic and at times non math oriented students.
