I start all my classes with a small test to see where they fit level wise. After that, I supply them with books to read and projects to work on that can help their skills improve quickly but efficiently. I like to gear my work to be special for each person and I make sure what I teach can be used in a normal society. I do teach a mix of American and British English as that is what I grew up with and I feel it takes the best of both and combines them.
