A fun, patient, critical-thinking and adaptable approach!

I have been teaching for over five years and have developed a strong ability to personalize lessons to meet the unique needs of each student. In the first few lessons, I focus on understanding the student's level, learning style, and specific needs. This includes assessing their current understanding, identifying any gaps in knowledge, and tailoring my approach accordingly. After this initial evaluation, I create a customized lesson plan designed to build on their strengths and address areas for improvement. Mathematics is a subject built on foundational concepts, so I emphasize addressing any gaps to ensure long-term success. Even concepts from three years ago can play a crucial role in current understanding, and I make it a priority to revisit these where necessary. I also believe that learning should be interactive and enjoyable. I incorporate the student's interests and preferences into our lessons and encourage open communication about their goals and areas of focus. By making the lessons engaging and collaborative, I aim to foster a positive learning environment where the student feels confident and motivated. One of my key goals as a tutor is to develop critical thinking skills in my students. This ensures that they can approach and solve problems independently, even when I’m not there to guide them. At the same time, I constantly seek feedback from my students and adapt my teaching methods based on their input to ensure they feel supported and understood throughout the learning process. With my dedication to personalization, interactive teaching methods, and focus on critical thinking, I strive to help every student achieve their full potential in mathematics.
