Experienced Geography teacher for GCSEs and A level based in Edinburgh

I am a passionate and enthusiastic geography teacher with 8 years of teaching experience. I have also been coaching and tutoring for a few years. Exam groups I taught have achieved very high with many accessing the top grades. I have success in raising achievements for SEN/ EAL students and support Higher Prior Attainment students reach their full potential.

I can offer bespoke geography lessons from KS3 to KS5 level. Provide tailored tutoring for exam preparations. Support with essay writing, NEAs for A level and writing a strong personal statement for UCAS. I can provide online or in person sessions, revision/ assessment resources as well as feedback.

Exam Board expertise in AQA GCSE and A-level, however, I do also have a good grasp of other major exam board specifications. I have worked as an examiner for GCSE so I know the specific requirements to access the highest grades.

About me: I hold a 2:1 BSc (Hons) in Geography from the University of Nottingham and studied a range of Geography topics and a PGCE (with Merit) also from the University of Nottingham.

At my secondary school I studied A-levels in Geography, Maths and Physics. I am also fluent in Japanese.
