English and Humanities for those who struggle to learn.

I have tutored children of all ages privately and with a variety of companies. Working for ATeam Tuition in Australia required confidence tutoring a broad range of subjects from ages six to seventeen. In 2022, I worked for a charity spending time with children in care, which meant forming relationships with not only the student and their family, but their network of carers. I also have experience tutoring at the tertiary level in my area; English and the Humanities. When tutoring students, both online and in-person, I begin by setting up a learning profile of the student, understanding their strengths, weaknesses, areas that they wish to improve. Ideally by this time, I will have enough information to construct some lesson plans that are tailored to the student's learning needs, alongside the content they need assistance with understanding. My students appreciate my easygoing and approachable manner, as well as, the assistance that I offer with time management and building confidence.
