English and foreign language tutor for all ages

I have a year of experience teaching English to children ages 7 to 13 in Japan whom had little to no prior knowledge of the language. I hold Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa where I focused in studying Linguistics, all kinds of Foreign Languages (including Japanese, Hawaiian, Filipino, Samoan, and Maori), and Second Language Studies (how second language learners learn and are taught new languages). In my youth and throughout high school I had private voice lessons for singing in English, German, French and Italian. I am currently in the MSc Evolution of Language and Cognition programme at the University of Edinburgh. I am proficient in teaching basic level language instruction in English, Japanese, Thai, and Spanish, and music lessons in vocal performance.
