I currently hold a Mental Health practitioner position as a Specialist Mentor with Student Services. In this role I mentor students at the University of Edinburgh, University of St. Andrews and Queen Margaret University which I find highly rewarding. In my roleI have received training in ethical and legal issues which has given me the skills to deliver bona fide support. I am confident that my students master self-management and cope with life challenges better.
In 2016 I relocated to Scotland and completed an MSc in Psychology. I am a passionate scientist and researcher and employ latest studies in my work regularly. Furthermore I have conducted research experiments for my own MSc thesis and in my role as a research assistant at the Abertay University in Dundee, Scotland. Prior to this I was based in Germany where I taught English in a college for 15 years. My influence inspired many to trust their abilities to achieve growth. These essentials constitute my foundations for the profession of a psychologist.
My broad-mindedness helps me to establish a natural affinity with clients which allows rapport to occur naturally. My greatest strength is creativity. It enables me to inspire people to learn about themselves and effect a positive change in their lives. I strongly believe that I am a suitable tutor for your successful training in Psychology.
