Enthusiastic and inspiring Economics/ Business Tutor

Hi there, I’m a student at the University of Birmingham studying BSc Economics. Specific subject interests include Economics and Business which I took at A-level- whereby I received A*,A,A grades. I tutored for 2 years to GCSE students from local schools whilst in college, this opportunity was possible because I was selected by my college to teach students alongside my A-levels. My additional qualifications include the Duke of Edinburgh gold award which l completed last year testament to my dedication, integrity and hard work- a few key attributes which I look to develop in my students. Additionally, I have a CISI Financial services qualification which again I received through going above and beyond when doing my A-levels. The qualification aided my studies and the content I learnt can be passed onto students where necessary.

Lessons will usually last an hour though adjustments can be made should a student wish to spend more time on a particular topic. Having completed A-levels last year, I have a solid understanding of exam technique and its application for both Business and Economics. I have a good knowledge of the curriculum and the exam expectations. My teaching style is aimed to focus on the absolute basics and I’ll develop skills from there. As a tutor, I wish to have a relaxed environment for my students as I believe this supports growth. I’m a genuine and enthusiastic person with a passion learning.
