Advert description
I am a newly qualified teacher from University College London, focussing on Primary Education and focussing on the Early Years and Key Stage 1 classes. I began my journey as an apprentice in a Nursery which led me to into primary education.
From a personal point of view, I understand how school or subjects can become confusing, overwhelming or cause anxieties. So, with adaptive teaching methods which can be designed to work for your child at their own pace, they can feel more prepared for the future.

I began my journey as an apprentice in a nursery where I studied and practiced the Early Years Statutory Framework. I continued my studies by attending the top University in the world for Primary Education to pursue my teaching career.
I have been fortunate to received some of the highest standards of influence, support and guidance from my school experiences which have allowed me to develop and challenge myself in order to be the best educator for the children I teach.

I use adaptive teaching methods which are suited best for the learner whether it is active learning, visual learning, auditory learning and more. I will also clarify what has been taught in the previous lessons and identify which areas are challenging and how we can clarify any misconceptions or misunderstandings in the clearest form.
One example from my teaching experience was in a reception class where the children were learning the concept of 'first, second, third...' With the lesson plan originally designed to be an indoor learning experience, I decided to take the children outside, in the rain, and participate in a race themselves. This way I was incorporating physical education and physical development into the lesson whilst also sticking to the lesson objectives. I did this because I knew my class were very active but also struggled with the task of sitting and listening for long periods of time; I adapted the lesson to what was best for the children.
I strive to make learning relevant by incorporating real-world connections into my teaching. My organised yet engaging approach allows me to deliver impactful lessons that resonate with students' lives. My goal is to provide logical reasons why topics matter so children grasp the value of learning.
