GCSE Maths Tutor available

I'm an A-grade student at GCSE level now looking to get a start in tutoring with a focus on Maths & Sciences. I have maintained a continued enjoyment for these subjects since studying them at secondary school and have been lucky enough to have some great teachers in my life, and found myself responding best to a personable but focused approach to teaching. This usually involves an instructive breakdown of a concept using the latest subject book as a foundation, followed by some questions for the student to complete with supervision. The closer we get to an exam, I use past exam papers as a way to understand the language and expectations of a test. This said, I aim to ensure that my students come to understand concepts as opposed to simply memorising them as I believe this is the strongest way to exam success.
