With a genuine dedication to sociology, I am on the path to acquiring my degree in the field. I aspire to ignite the same enthusiasm within students who find themselves grappling with its intricacies at any level. My journey through sociology, from its introduction at GCSE and A Level where I achieved commendable grades, to further deepening my comprehension at Durham University, has equipped me with an intimate familiarity with the curriculum and an enriched perspective on the subject.

By leveraging my academic journey and profound interest, I aim to not only assist students in grasping challenging concepts but also to cultivate a genuine appreciation for the discipline. Through engaging lessons tailored to individual learning styles, I seek to foster an environment where students feel empowered to explore sociology's profound insights into human behaviour and society.

In addition to my academic pursuits, I have gained valuable tutoring experience in English and mathematics through my tenure at Kumon Learning Center as a tutor for English and maths. Through this experience, I've learned how to adapt my teaching style to suit each student's needs. It's helped me not only improve their academic skills but also boost their confidence. These skills will be invaluable in helping students understand and enjoy sociology.
