Pre Algebra, Algebra I, Algebra II, Calculus I

I am a Chemical Engineering senior at North Carolina A&T State University where I worked with 3-5 students per week helping them with homework, tests and quizzes. I focus on calculus I but I also assist with lower level math because understanding these foundational topics will properly prepare students for future course work.

I usually start off asking the students in what areas they need help with, after they start and get stuck, then I step in. We then practice questions to make sure they are more comfortable with those types of problems. I do this again with other areas they have difficulty in. I ultimately want to ensure that they understand the concepts of the subject so they have the confidence to solve problems on their own.
