Advert description
こんにちは! I am Rena from Fukuoka, Japan. Personally, I am very patient, optimistic and chatty. I am a recent graduate from Durham University with a masters in Translation in Japanese (mother tongue) and English (native level). I have experience teaching Japanese in Japan, the U.K. and Vietnam for 3 years, where I taught beginner to advanced group of students. When I was in Japan, I taught intermediate and advanced learners based on the book "げんき”. My lesson plan included small talk, quiz, introduction for the new grammar, delivering PPT, explaining the grammar, making the students do a quiz on "げんき", checking answers together, conducting pair work with the handout I prepared, letting them ask other people to compare with their answers, telling them about next lesson and giving them homework. When I was in the U.K., I led a conversational class for intermediate and advanced learners which focused on enhancing their conversational skills by giving them a topic to speak about (similar to my experience in Vietnam). Also, I provide explicit corrections as feedback to students. If interested, contact me @renadesu11 on Telegram.
