Advert description
I have received my Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) in Physical Science from the M.G. University, India. I have taught physics within post-primary schools to a broad range of students through the use of a variety of appropriate teaching methodologies and approaches, including active learning, small-group tuition, and individual teaching. During my Ph.D. at TU Dublin (-) and Postdoctoral Research at TCD, Ireland (-), I helped with tutorials and demonstrations for undergraduate and graduate students. In CUSAT, India (-), I have taught three different modules (Mechanics and Wave Phenomena, Photonic Materials and, Bio-Photonics) to M. Tech and Integrated M. Sc students. I assist with lectures in the Faculty of Engineering for the modules Advanced Manufacturing for Industry 4.0 and Data Analysis for Advanced Manufacturing, Manufacturing Process Analysis and Tool Design (MM555: Module coordinator, Masters programme delivered across GTEC, MEPT, and MMME programs) and Surgical Device Technology (MM499: Biomedical Engineering programme). I was the internal examiner of these modules which I delivered in a hybrid class room environment. I use “Moodle platform” to provide lecture notes and other teaching materials to students. I am experienced in teaching large and small class rooms of students with a broad range of desires, knowledge and, cultural backgrounds. To me, supporting students is extremely important and I support them through face to face scheduled tutorials, individual training, online support and make available resources on Moodle. I include learning activities and assessment on Moodle platform for enabling all students to engage with the subject matter. I am actively involved in conducting workshops, classroom discussions, small projects, seminars, and student industrial visits. I have experience in supervising final-year master projects and Ph.D. students. I supervise international project students with a broad range of cultural backgrounds in their short-term projects. I have assisted students with their laboratory practicals and developed their awareness of cleanroom facilities and safety instructions. I have had the chance to prepare for examinations in India and Ireland. I participated in outreach programs such as Discover Manufacturer, a national level 3D printing competition for school students (I was one of the judges of entries), and
