To whom it may concern: I have nearly a quarter century's worth of experience in teaching, both online and offline. My PhD is in Social Anthropology (Queen's University Belfast 2005) but my BA (Hons - National University of Ireland, Maynooth, 1993) is in Anthropology and History.

My lessons are conversational in character and content. Knowledge of history requires more than just knowing the dates of when things happened, though it does require that: it also means having the ability and confidence to argue about why what happened, happened.
