Advert description
In my 24 years of teaching and leading I specialised in PE and Sport and Science. I am a consistently outstanding teacher and as a leader I continued to develop my skills by observing and supporting other amazing people. I find a particular strength of mine is personalising sessions to meet the needs of individuals. There is no one size fits all in teaching and I would tailor the session to suit your learning style. I hold the highest qualifications in Education including the National Qualification of Headship (NPQH) and National Qualification in Executive Leadership (NPQEL).
I have a passion for developing others and now spend my time life-coaching people from all walks of life and all ages.
I pride myself on working with you to achieve your goals. So, whilst we might focus on your subject as starting point, I will also support you to make your own decisions around other aspects in your life. I find coaching the whole person during the sessions allow us to explore barriers and discuss ways to overcome them.
I am an empathetic person who is non-judgemental and is without bias or prejudice. I will listen to you before asking questions. I am extremely personable and enjoy seeing others thrive and grow. I treat confidentiality with utmost importance and will never leave a session without you moving forward with goals to work towards.
A typical session would start with checking in and seeing how you are doing and what goals you would like to work towards. We will revisit any previous sessions and discuss how you are feeling. I will pose questions to allow you space to figure out what areas you would like to work on that day. We will then explore how you would like to progress and what is needed to allow for this to happen. Finally, towards the end of the session we will look to set some goals which you think are achievable but might push you out of your comfort zone a little to ensure you moving forward.
There is never any pressure to undertake a certain path and academic and personal development does not always follow a steady incline upwards as some graphs often suggest. Sometimes we must venture off the path and step back a little. This is fine and will ultimately lead to greater progress in the long run.
It would be a privilege to work alongside you and help you to become the best version of yourself.
