I am a first-class honours graduate of natural sciences and a holder of a distinction award for my study of MSc mathematics. I am a PhD level corrosion engineer working with the University of Manchester and the Nuclear industry. I have a strong mathematical and scientific background. Additionally, I use Python and Latex on a daily basis. I can teach Python, Latex, and GCSE and A-level mathematics to students of any age.

My name is George Livesey, and I am a PhD student at the University of Manchester. Mathematics is my vocation, and I intend to pursue it long after completing my PhD. The reason I decided on a science-focussed PhD is my desire to improve practical skills and form a more fundamental understanding of the physical world.

I have personally experienced very good teaching and very bad teaching at all levels of academia. That is why I know that dedication to the improving of a students knowledge, confidence and perception of a subject is an essential quality of a teacher.
