I am strict when needed so students will push themselves but also easy going/ likeable as long the student makes consistent progress.My lesson are aimed at GCSE students - year 9 to 11 especially as key stage 4 is where GCSE truly gets serious

I have experience with my own younger siblings and relatives’ children - who are in year 9, 10 and 11 right now ; so i know exactly what students at this level require, and I am aware of how to approach them to help them build discipline in learning as well as increase their understanding in areas of difficulty.

I will make sure they know which exam board they are undertaking their GCSE with, making sure they inquire their school on this - and then from the exam board I have the student books (as pdfs) which serve as guides to the students.
To year 9/10 students I aim for them to complete their student book - setting them chapters as assignments and helping when they’re stuck. Then just to make sure their understanding is clear I will make them undergo a unit test, so they are 100% secure in these topics.
For year 10/11 students I will provide past paper questions per topics - especially in topics of struggle so they can not only solidify weakened but also increase experience of how the actual exam will be.
To further their experience I will make sure they take full past papers in timed conditions - which will prove key in securing the top grades in GCSE.
