I found fulfilment in volunteering as a maths tutor and assisted in several maths classes in school through ‘guardians of learning’ by teaching a variety of students from different year groups ranging from year 7 to year 11. By explaining ideas to others, it refined my ability to explain complex ideas in simpler terms and honed my ability to communicate ideas effectively. Adaptability became a key skill as I had to tailor my teaching style to suit each student's needs and unique challenges.
