Skills • Reading: Employ different reading activities depend on the level of the learner. This can include show-and-tells, reading aloud, act-it-out challenges, picture reading, word or sentence order and many more. • Writing: Encourage learners to write down the instructions and the lessons. Take into consideration the spellings. In this way, learners can practise their writing skills. • Speaking: Introduce an interactive lesson. Ask learners questions to be answered orally and engage in discussions. Help learners with the phonology, morphology and syntax of the language. That is building up a language beginning with the smallest unit which is from phonics to words and then to sentences. Therefore pronunciations and meanings are taken into consideration. • Listening: Establish a good rapport with students and allow you to set them ask questions and give back clear feed back.
