My name is Zain and I am a 27 year old who is working on a main business, and also have side projects. Right now I am in the business of finance, and also have a passion for music and the guitar. I enjoy personal development, and through my learnings and experience, realise that I want to share my experience with music to others
What started for me at 13 years old wanting to learn some basic riffs turned into wanting to learn scales, chords, complex solos, shredding, and much more!
To let you know, I jam mainly to rock and metal/thrash metal music, so bands such as Guns N' Roses, Metallica, Bullet For My Valentine, Avenged Sevenfold, Blink 182, but I learnt on acoustic guitar and have great experience playing more classical or flamenco-style music!
I have been playing the guitar for 12 years and for the most part taught myself. I did however have help from Guitar mentors and teachers which really helped me level up my abilities, which I believe to be crucial in a musicians development.
I have performed in a variety of school shows, and also have played to audiences ranging from people. While performing is not something I do anymore, its something I have experience in
I also Have an A in GCSE Music, with the bulk being performance and composition - based work.
I will be able to deliver lessons in a structured and methodical way where it will cater to the needs of you, which will loosely based on your experience, skill, style, and personal ambition. For example, a beginner whose never picked up the guitar before will be taught about the instrument itself, and will usually start off with basic chords to practice as well as simple scales, but again, all dependent on your needs and lessons will be built around your preferences. A more intermediate player may be taught riffs, solos, songs, complex scales, and a more experienced player may need help with techniques such as down picking and alternate picking. These are just examples however I will cater to your needs and each lesson can be flexible and built around your progress and growth.
I mainly teach rock and metal, but can teach classical where it will be more of a focus on chords and scales and how to combine them to produce music to the students personality
