Advert description
With over five years of experience working in education, I have developed a strong understanding of how to support and guide young learners, especially in the sciences. I've taught KS3 Science, KS4 Biology, Chemistry and Physics, as well as KS4 and KS5 Psychology. I'm also a school governor.
I started teaching with the Teach First leadership development programme, where I spent two years teaching in a school in London. After this, I taught in a school in West Sussex, where I honed my skills in using technology to deliver engaging and differentiated lessons.
Since leaving full-time teaching I have worked as an Examiner for GCSE Biology with AQA and an Associate for Teach First, tutoring trainee Science teachers in Physics and Chemistry and delivering seminars for newly qualified Science and Psychology teachers. This background gives me a deep understanding of the curriculum and exam requirements, allowing me to offer clear, focused support to students.
Whether a student needs support in understanding tricky concepts or building confidence for exams, I offer tailored tutoring sessions that are friendly, clear, and supportive. My aim is always to create a positive learning environment where students can thrive.
