My focus lies in the art subject, specifically in traditional media, including drawing workshops, illustration, visual development, keyframe illustrations, and character design. I aim to cover a broad spectrum of visual illustration for students aged 14–18 in the Cardiff area, offering both in-person and online availability. Holding both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Illustration, I continuously refine my craft by studying with industry professionals and engaging with award-winning illustrators. This ongoing dedication ensures I remain current with the evolving practices in the field, enriching the knowledge and techniques I can share with students. In addition to my artistic background, I bring over a decade of experience in the hospitality industry, with half of that time spent in management roles. This has equipped me with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, honed through training and mentoring team members to thrive in challenging, fast-paced environments. These transferable skills are invaluable in teaching, allowing me to connect with students, understand their needs, and help them achieve their best. My partner, a clinical psychologist and part-time university tutor, has inspired me to pursue this goal of teaching. My ultimate ambition is to transition into education full-time and one day become a university lecturer in the arts, sharing my passion and expertise with the next generation of creative professionals. This journey is driven by my commitment to nurturing talent, fostering creativity, and helping students explore the transformative power of art.
