Experienced and supportive maths tutor and examiner

My name is Omar. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Maths and a Masters degree in Statistics.

I teach students of all ages and abilities. Making maths a fun and enjoyable experience is my primary goal for students, who are then more engaged and motivated in learning. Their development enables better understanding and application of more complex concepts and ideas.

I already taught a number of students who have gone on and perform well in their exams.
I my job I teach statistics to University students and teaching privately ever since the early age of 15.

My approach has always been to make sure the student understands rather than to memorise mathematical concepts as in an exam, memory can be very unreliable.
I tailor a package around the individual student which is a major plus point of one-on-one lessons compared to classrooms.
Maths has an unfair stigma about being boring - any subject can be fun and enjoyable with the right teacher.
