Advert description
With me, you can learn the basics of photographic theory (settings, lighting, etc) , get to know different types of gear and delve into some post production work. We will combine theory with practical work, because the best way to learn is by practising your skills.
The best part? You don't need to have a camera for my lessons. If a phone is all you have, we can work around that!
I currently work with a Canon 5D MkIV (and whenever I'm alowed to, I use a Canon R5 from my University). Canon is the gear I'm most proficient at, but can adapt to other brands if needed.
As for post production, I work with Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop on a Macbook.
I also have some basic knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Premiere Pro and Da Vinci Resolve but those skills are a bit rusty, as I don't work with publishing or video editing that much nowadays.
The first lesson (free of charge) will serve to get to know you, assess your knowledge and build a lesson plan tailored to your needs.
If any reasonable adjustments are needed, don't be afraid to ask me prior to our first lesson. As a neurodivergent (ADHD), I understand that what works for someone else might not work for you. I welcome all students and will always do my best to create a comfortable environment so you can get the best out of these lessons.
If any of the schedules on my availability don't suit you, don't hesitate to contact me. I work part-time and am about to start my MA degree in September, but I'm sure we can arrange a time that suits both of us :)
