I have taught a range of English learners in Taiwan for over three years. I have helped my students to love school, love English and love each other. I then became a student myself and obtained a first-class Master's degree in psychology. I believe the key to a successful education is a healthy mind, and I know what it takes to provide a healthy learning environment. My lesson design will help you become more autonomous, competent, and connected. So, what exactly does this look like?
We will start the lesson with conversation before diving deeper into your passions and interests. This very much depends on you! If you enjoy reading, let's explore a book together. If you enjoy writing, let's craft a story together. If you enjoy creating, let's design a poster, produce a comic-strip, or record a podcast. Each lesson will develop uniquely. We will set goals at the start of lessons, and review them at the end. Throughout the lesson I will be taking notes based on your language use, and we will set aside time at the end of class to review them together.
