Conquer you fear of Maths and Excel with ease!

My name is Nispruha Geetha Srinivas and I have just completed my Masters in Computational Fluid Dynamics and I also hold a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering. I am applying for this position despite not having any tutoring experience because that was not a prerequisite for the candidates.
Like everyone, Mathematics was a subject that did not come easy to me. During my early years, even I struggled with the subject. But as I grew up, I started to realize that it was nothing but plain logic and formulae with some attention to detail. I arrived at this conclusion with the help of my teachers. Thus, I do understand the importance of having capable teachers who are passionate to impart knowledge to their pupils. Slowly, I began enjoying the subject so much so that I took it up as an elective during the seventh semester of my Bachelors.
I have observed many of my peers who have struggled with the subject. I still see many younger kids who are terrified at the sight of a quadratic equation. I have interacted with them and I have noticed a pattern. Its nothing but peer pressure. One student finds the subject genuinely hard and that is it. The fear spreads amongst their peers as well. Students are scared to even approach the subject. I believe I can get rid of this unwarranted fear and explain to the students that this is in fact one of the easiest subjects because there is always a right and a wrong answer – nothing in between. Moreover, there are chances of more than one correct answer existing. Math is full of endless possibilities!
