I am able to teach any child from the ages of 5 -18. I have a kind and approachable persona and always encouraged questions.

My sessions are completely tailored to the students I am teaching. I first always find their strong points and parts of the work which they struggle with. This allows me to understand what the students need help with. I also know every child is different and requires different approaches and this is something I find very important when teaching students. This allows me to ensure the students really understand the lesson. At the end of the lesson I also do a traffic light approach. This is when the student is able to give me feedback on what they understood the most, what they need a little bit more time on and what they struggled with . I also ensure my students know that they can stop me and ask any questions they need to as I emphasise that no question is silly and they truly are imperative in the learning journey. My first session with the students I ensure they know that the space we are in no matter if we are online or face to face is a judgement free zone and a safe space where they can truly ask any question they want and freely tell me what they need help on.
