One constant complaint when it comes to law is that the language is difficult and it tends to get tedious. The aim of my lessons is to break that. We focus on understanding rather than remembering. I do not believe that I will be teaching you. What I aim to do is guide you, monitor you, and push you to think from different perspectives. There is no wrong answer in law, and we have to make the most of it!
For most of my life, I have engaged in distance learning. The most important is to have fun and enjoy what we are doing, even when the topics feel boring. I believe in breaking down concepts and applying them to daily life happenings for easier understanding.
One topic which I stay away from is Land Law because I do not think I am very useful there. I enjoy exchanging on tort law. sports law, intellectual property rights, commercial law, history of law, and European law among others.
I do not engage in closed-book exams unless as a student you request for. However, there will be continuous assignments, through homework and mini coursework, which shall help to ascertain that the concepts are being understood and that you are ready to crack the topic in your official exams.
Looking forward to hearing from you and talking about how to help you in your studies.
