Experienced primary school teacher available for tutoring

I am a qualified Primary school teacher with 5 years experience and have predominantly worked in Key Stage Two. I have taught years 6, 5, and 4, however I am happy to work with Key Stage One children and have a solid understanding of the curriculum (including phonics) for years 1 - 6.
I completed a (BSc) in Psychology with Psychotherapy and Counselling and received a 1st class grade. After this, I moved to Colchester, Essex, and undertook my Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) to qualify as a teacher, where I received an ‘outstanding’ grade for this.
My degree has helped me to adopt an empathetic and considerate approach to working with children and I pride myself on developing positive, working relationships with my students, to help them achieve their best.
I have had lots of experience in working with children with SEND or additional needs, and am able to tailor and personalise the learning experience to suit the individual child.

I believe that education should be a fun and engaging experience, and inspire children to be curious.
