Advert description
I am a French national from Bordeaux who moved to the UK over 15 years ago. I am perfectly bilingual in French.
I have a undertook a BA in Business Management at Glasgow Caledonian University and a PGCE at Strathclyde University in French and Spanish.
am a qualified secondary school French teacher and tutor with over 20 years’ experience teaching students aged 11-16. I have a proven track record of success at GCSE.
Over the last 5 years, students I tutored achieved at least 2 grades higher than when they started. I also support students with school homework and am available for help and guidance outside of lesson time if required.
Each year students come to me for help with AQA and Edexcel GCSEs as well as Edexcel and Cambridge IGCSEs, and I am used to helping them prepare for their specific exams.
For A Level, I am familiar with Edexcel, AQA for French. At this level students often want help with the Speaking exam or general support for grammar and essay writing.
I am passionate about helping students reach their full potential and am confident that through 1:1 support, I can help students who are finding learning difficult or are lacking in confidence. As a parent too, I am aware of the need to meet a learner at their own level, and inspire them in the subject, as much as possible.
I ensure that all my lessons are customised to suit your needs and goals. My teaching approach provides a supportive environment, allowing you to make rapid progress based on your specific requirements, be it exam preparation, work requirements or personal goals.
My interest include current affairs and women’s rights. In my spare time I enjoy traveling and I also do enjoy cycling from time to time.
I taught French up to A Level at various outstanding schools and I began tutoring from 2019. I'm still teaching in a school in Lambeth on a part-time basis.
