I love teaching and my passion is teaching and learning, I always update my knowledge by reading and teaching. with 25 years of teaching experience bringing you to the horizon of your journey of learning. I am an academic, Curriculum developer and education researcher of administrative service in the field of Chemistry empowered with knowledge and experience of teaching Science and Chemistry for the last 25 years. I’m directly merged with the country’s education system. As a member of the Committee for National Curriculum Development, I’m the Coordinator of the team for curriculum reform in the General Education system in Sri Lankan Advanced Level chemistry and Ordinary Level chemistry syllabi. My major duties are Chemistry book editing, planning, budgeting, conducting Teacher Training, and Teacher trainers’ programs. This exposure offers me a rare opportunity to train teachers, principals, and Education directors from all over the country. Further, I do Chemistry lectures as a part-time lecturer at a privet University. I have experience in creating assessments and serving as a control marking examiner for national-level examinations.
