I’m reaching out to introduce myself and express my interest in teaching . As an English teacher for more than 12 years, I’ve dedicated my career to helping students of all levels master the language skills and concepts they need to prepare them for life beyond high school, and I’d love to continue that path in different organizations.
I teach literature, writing, and reading comprehension to students in grades 9 through 12. Over my 12 years of teaching, I’ve managed to successfully increase my student’s reading and writing comprehension test scores every year for the last five years.
In my pursuit of lifelong learning, I’ve made it a point to stay up to date on the most current teaching methods, including Cooperative Learning and Flipped Classroom. I’ve also earned an ELL , TEFL and ESL certification. My major subjects are psychology, business management, computer science and English literature and linguistics.
