Over the past four years, I have honed my skills as an online educator, fostering a dynamic and engaging learning environment for students. Simultaneously, I have dedicated four years to working in afterschool programs, contributing to the academic and holistic development of students beyond the traditional classroom setting. My passion for education, coupled with a diverse skill set, positions me as a dedicated professional committed to nurturing the growth and success of every student in my care. Students backgrounds and cultures are being kept in mind when planning the next lesson of topic. Furthermore, students preference in reading topics and interest are used as building blocks to help guide in the language learning process. The structure of the lesson will start with brief small talk, followed by topic introduction. Students previous knowledge of the topic is tested and the lesson progresses from there. Students are in the driver seat when it comes to the content and if they perceive the content to be either too complex and too simple in that given moment due to many various reasons. Additional lesson will be prepared and kept in mind for instances such as these. Questions and expressing oneself is a requirement for students attending lessons.
