Claudia is a superb teachers. We study writing, speech, listening and reading in Spanish. Some classes we discuss our lives and the world. Other classes are dedicated to reviewing grammar. I have been working with Claudia for a full year and while I am sometimes frustrated with myself, I am never frustrated with her. She is patient and determined and my abilities are in fact growing rapidly. She is a wonderful teacher and partner in this work, and I am very grateful for her steady belief in me. When I began working with Claudia my level of understanding was rather low, and now I can hold a conversation with strangers, I am writing full essays and I actually am reading at a high level--I finished Cien Años De Soledad last summer and now I am reading short stories by Roberto Bolaño. Claudia is also insistent that we read articles on line so that I have a continuing understanding of how Spanish lives in the world. An excellent teacher, I recommend her highly.
