Widely experienced teacher of both adults & children, with recent experience of teaching languages (English) in formal, informal, group & one-to-one sessions

I am from England and live in Houston in the USA. I have experience of teaching both adults and children in the classroom and in one-to-one sessions. My journey began as a primary school teacher and I love hellping students build their skills and confidence.
For the past 2 years, I have been teaching English as a second language to a mixed ability group of adult learners. Together,
we have worked on grammar, reading, writing, conversation and everyday language skills, using a structured and fun, student focused approach to learning. With over 16 years experience in primary education, I have taught children in years 2 to 5 and I've also tutored students for important exams such as the KS1 & 2 SATS and the 11 plus. I hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Education, specialising in Primary Education. With a mix of fun and focused learning, I'm here to help you grow your English skills.
