As a Civil engineer I prefer to teach autocad to civilengineering students.

I Clearly define what my students should achieve by the end of the course, such as mastering basic commands, creating 2D models, or understanding advanced features. I Ensure that all students have access to AutoCAD software. I can guide them on how to download a student version. I Use platforms like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet, which allow you to share your screen and demonstrate AutoCAD in real time. I Assign practical tasks and projects. I give them drawing exercises or have them replicate models I demonstrate. I Record my lessons so students can review them later, which is especially helpful for students in different time zones. Share or create short tutorial videos on specific AutoCAD topics. Provide PDFs or links to AutoCAD manuals, shortcuts, and tips. I will give students sample AutoCAD files to practice with.
