English 1001 and English 1002 : Non-credit beginners courses offered to students who are placed in A0 or a lon entry assessment test : lowest level of generative language use ; provide students with basic commands in English; integrate the four skills; listening, speaking, reading and writing. Helps students do the following ; understand and use familiar everyday expressions and basic phrases ,make simple questions , interact in a simple way ,able to use simple grammatical structures.
Prerequisite for ENGC 1001.
