Teacher of spanish as a second language

My name is Janneth Quintero, I am Colombian and I have a degree in Education.

I have taught Spanish to children and adults from different nationalities and in different settings such as schools, institutes and open talks since 2012. Teaching is one of my greatest passions.

Also, I have had the opportunity to visit and get to know different countries on all continents, experiences that have opened my vision of the world and its cultures, at the same time enriching my profession as an educator. I worked for several years in Dubai at the language center of a Spanish University as a Latin language teacher, following programs guided by the DELE guidelines and levels of the CMER for Spanish (Common European Framework of Reference).

My experience teaching the language has been improved by being born and raised in Bogotá, which determined a neutrality in my accent. I design and develop my classes in a personalized way, responding to the specific needs of my students. I use different methodologies that help understanding the language, with exercises for listening, writing and conversation, in order to learn in an easy, fast and fun way.

Additionally, I have developed a special teaching program of the language for those interested in learning Spanish for Business, focused on transforming learning Spanish into a powerful tool that opens commercial doors and supports the economic development of the projects and initiatives of my students.

In addition to this, I have been teaching Spanish as a second language for 2,5 years in a German language teaching company, where I have thought more than 1,000 online classes and always with an excellent performance rating.
