Advert description
I have been a language teacher for more than eight years, having taught both classes of levels Beginner to Advanced and one-to-one students of the same range of levels. My primary employment has been with Language Study Center (LSC, Dmitrov, Russia), where I have worked with teenage and adult students.
In addition to teaching English, my work has included being a certified Cambridge English speaking examiner (conducting Speaking tests for Cambridge English qualifications), managing internal English testing and assessment at LSC, and occasional interpreting for companies such as McDonald's, Moscow's Department of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, and International Camping Fellowship (ICF).
My qualifications include both language proficiency (Council of Europe Level C2 in English) and methodological integrity (Band 4 in TKT Modules-and Young Learners). I am an MA in Applied and Experimental Linguistics, my key research interests being phonetics and prosodic features of spoken speech.
I believe that the mission of language teaching is opening doors: new opportunities that arise through learning a global language are endless, from establishing lasting professional ties to amassing and applying knowledge only available in a second language to simply enjoying media content in the original language.
