Online/on-site private tutoring of French as a foreign language (FLE) - All levels for students/adults/professionals

Bonjour à vous !

I am Laurent, a French citizen and native speaker. Former Parisian, with five years of experience living in Asia (Japan, Taiwan, South-East Asia...), I live in central France since 2020.

I am one of those atypical profiles considering a diverse training/professional background. Indeed, I have a triple educational background: academic master’s degree/postgraduate (consulting-cooperation-development in South-East Asia), professional bachelor’s degree (IT), 5 years of training (psychotherapy/counselling) in a private institute. I worked in these areas several years.

I started to teach French language in Japan in 1993, where I worked in an IT company for 2 years, to several of my Japanese colleagues who wanted to learn French language. Since, I had to opportunity to teach to several learners of various nationalities both in Asia, France and online (one-on-one sessions).

I love languages in general and mine in particular, information/knowledge, and their transmission. I am always happy to have the opportunity to teach French language to interested foreign learners in order to achieve their goals.

I offer a wide range of possibilities: vocabulary/grammar/spelling learning, casual conversations, structured courses, exam preparations, tailored lessons on demand (by theme, taste, or purpose…). Learning should always fun and pleasant with regular measurable practical progress !

In parallel, since I am a freelance technical writer-translator, author and abstract painter, for a dozen of years, my schedule is flexible. I currently have availabilities for new students. As much as possible, I adapt to their needs in terms of days and hours.

I have a wide range of interests (animals, nature, gastronomy, culture, art, human sciences, history, traveling, sciences…that can be used in some lessons), so feel free to contact me to have more information about what is possible to do.
