Native English speaker and Stand-Up Comedian who can help with academic or social needs

Hello, my name is James Surgeoner a TEFL certified instructor and a stand-up comedian. In my classes, students (classes varying on age) will learn how to express humour through the English language.

Learning a new language can be difficult and understanding the humour in that language can be even harder still. Through lessons and assignments, I will get them to look at and to find the funny in various situations.

Students who would benefit from this include:

- Young students who wish to learn how to express themselves better with their newly learned language and tutoring in basic English.
- Intermediary students who are struggling with understanding some informal aspects of English humour and wish to become a more fluent and natural English speaker.
- Advanced students who need help with a speech, public speaking, or an event they specifically wish to be funny for.

Students learn:
Tools and exercises to help them discover their own natural way of speaking English.
One on one attention to ensure students are given consideration.
Individualized lesson plans to help students with their specific needs.


My rate of pay is £20 per hour.

My availability is flexible, but typically weekdays between 9:00 am to 5:00 pm GMT.
