Mathematics Tuition for Secondary School students

Hi, I'm Mark.

I provide maths grinds for Junior and Leaving Certificate students (equivalent to GCSE and A levels).

I teach my students over Skype using an online whiteboard called Conceptboard where we work on the maths problems together.

All the problems, notes and maths resources are uploaded to the whiteboard by me where I complete the maths problems and explain all the concepts. The student can also write their own solutions on the board if preferred. A copy of the lesson can then be forwarded to the student after the lesson if they want.

In my lessons, I first discuss with the student what their strengths and weaknesses are. I strive to ensure that the student properly understands the concepts and principles underlying all the maths they learn, tailoring teaching to the student's way of learning.

As the student develops confidence and ownership in their learning, we apply what is learnt to progressively challenging problems and exam papers to strengthen their understanding in preparation for exams.

I can provide regular homework if the student wants.
Exam strategy is also discussed. I can provide notes on most topics as we go.

I am passionate about teaching and it's always very rewarding to see a student's improvement.
