Kids Football training sessions from a former Barcelona academy player

I am a former Barca academy player who is interactive and will often start with warm up drills including sprinting and 2 minutes of stretching before ball work.
I like having 3 different sessions for different aspects of the game. For example. One day of shooting and passing. Another for dribbling and areal control. And one for defending and off ball movement. When training a group, all my sessions end with a 10-30 minute match sequence, depending on how much time is left and how many hours the students are willing participate. However, when there are few students, I prefer to end the session with a quick game of volleyball with no hands allowed, this will give the students the opportunity to better their reaction time as well as ball control. While setting up the drills including cones and other equipment, I like the students to stay active and try to beat their personal bests in keepy ups or juggling. I also train goalkeepers if needed. And for every last session of the month, I always play a two touch match against each student just to see how far they have come. I also like to stay in touch with the students and like giving life advice for aspiring football players. Pace is not my strong suit as player, and for those who feel like they lack it, I will be able to teach ways to use that as an advantage, small stop and go plays are far more efficient than pace.
