Friendly tutor makes learning fun again ! I give affordable lessons

I have tutored primary school students one-on-one in Mathematics and English. Also, I often helped my younger cousins prepare for exams by going over content with them and quizzing them on what they have learnt. I was a peer tutor at my high school, which involved running homework club and aiding teachers during my study period. I was a prefect and ran my own committee, as well as coaching the younger years with basketball club.
 
I have graduated from studying Law at university. I am an approachable, patient, and friendly person with a good sense of humour. I enjoy tutoring people because of the personal rewards that it provides for the student and myself and I have learnt how to interact with students and keep them engaged during their extra hours of teaching. I have picked all this up as I am currently a Teaching Assistant which also allows me to know the curriculum well. Furthermore, working with the SEN department has allowed me to tutor people who struggle with the content that they are learning so I try to relate their interests to the subject. I like to keep a positive vibe during sessions, so that the person feels good about themselves and what they are learning.
 
How I conduct my lessons is by starting off with establishing a good relationship, so I am able to evaluate and understand the needs of my student . This way we are able to set goals in order to see progress in the work completed and that way I can adapt my teaching method to the students learning method.
